PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

I’m Chelsey West, founder of West Words Speech Therapy. I am an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence certified speech language pathologist.

I received my bachelors and masters degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Throughout my career, I have gained expertise in language disorders, fluency disorder, early intervention for delayed speech, and communication difficulties related to autism. My client experience ranges from ages birth to adulthood. Additionally, I have experience working in schools, early intervention, and pediatric home health.

Relationships are the foundation to growth and success. As a speech pathologist, I am a firm believer in developing strong relationships with my clients. During therapy sessions, I utilize highly interactive and engaging materials to make sessions fun and entertaining for kiddos!
